Walked up the road yesterday to the parking bay to find an empty space where there should have been my 1998 VFR800.

 

That's on the very short list of worst possible news ever.

 

I spent yesterday returning a friends car trailer transporter that he kindly loaned me for that Mini i purchased a few weeks ago.

 

Just landed at Heathrow from Washington dc after a 3 week 3750 mile road trip.

 

Went to visit friends in Somerset for the day yesterday. Spent most of the day chatting and catching up, as we hadn’t seen them for a while, then went to a nice pub for dinner. The drive home in biblical rain at about midnight wasn’t ideal, had a few aquaplane moments in the car. Needed a large brandy and an hour of The Royle Family to wind back down before going to bed.

I’m off to see the new Mission Impossible film today. Booked tickets for my wife and I, but completely forgot she’s already got plans today, so I’ll just go on my own, and have a spare seat for all the food I’m going to buy!

My wife hates the cinema, so I too wanted to go today, ut she won't let me as I'm away on a bike trip to Wales next weekend.
