Anybody tried one? Did it work? Was it a pig to fit (especially stashing the module)? I guess that would apply to a 1260 also....
I have a Rapid Bike module. I bought it second hand from a fellow forum member. I think it works, it certainly doesn't make things work, but it is subtle. You have to ride a couple of hundred miles so it beds in, as it were, and by then any change is subjective. Overall the torque flat spot has improved though not totally cured. This could be due to the Rapid Bike module, but could also have been influenced by the various engine map re-issues from Ducati. I wasn't difficult to fit, there is space under the pillion seat. The hardest part was plugging the sensors in under the tank. It is possible to avoid removing the tank by lifting it up at the back, if I remember correctly.
Cool, thanks for the info. Mine has the cat gutted which improves it but could still be better. Also going to fit a DNA filter and maybe a full Termi system so the RB Evo would be a good upgrade. Do you happen to have the dimensions of the module (I can't find it on the RB website)? Space is restricted under my rear seat as I have a small oil bottle for the Pro-oiler under there so I need to do a bit of planning....
