Can anyone tell me where the wheel direction mark is on a 796 hyper.. Bike has standard Marchessini ten spokes fitted.. I need to check if the wheel ( not the tyre ) has been fitted correctly.. I have issues including brake binding on the front. Thank you.
Assuming the valve is standard and not been changed in its life, it should be visible sticking out the right hand side of the wheel. Tyre will have rotation marks on it somewhere.
If the 796 is the same as my 1100, it will only fit one way round, with the spacer on the left-hand side as you sit on the bike. The wheel hub has a recess on this side to accept the spacer, and is flush on the other (right-hand) side.
