Have posted on a very old manners thread but likely that will get lost… I started fitting my track bodywork and the headlight blank. I removed the temp sensor and left the u shaped bracket the fits to the front of the headlight and has the arm that locks o under the clocks. I fitted both of these to the blank. The headlights are wrapped separately. There was a plug blank that came with it, any ideas where that goes? I have a mil light which I assume is because no lights are conn etc so it thinks they are blown?? Not led type btw. Any hints or tips on what needs to have a blank vs what I can just bag up and hide away?? Can’t find anything on searches and even YouTube let’s me down
I think the blank plug that comes with the OEM track fairing kit is for the side stand delete. The kit I bought from Ducati didn’t come with a rear light switch blank though, so I had a light on when i first started the bike after fitting the fairings. Luckily I had the OBD IScan to tell me what the light indicated, otherwise it would have been a two hour round trip to a dealers! That’s for a V4 mind, not sure if it’s the same for a 1299?
