I know ther may not be that many out there but has anyone got and spare 900 M or SS 'V2' heads for sale or gathering dust? I may have access to a 900 engine less the heads for my 750SS project. Once i have them there will be a 750 engine for sale. Cheers, Yorkie
A silly question, but why are you looking for the "v" heads? And by that i think you mean "v2"? there are other heads from the later models that have no designation on them, these all have the same valves and port shape. i feel what you are trying to do is avoid the "w2" heads which had slightly smaller valves and a slightly different combustion chamber shape. A point to note here, and my opinion is that the "w2" head is a better head to start with if going with bigger valves and porting as the smaller port has more material so can be shaped better, i also think the chamber is a better shape to start from. and they are a cheaper option.
Spike, Yep fat fingered typing, cheers. The V2, I believe are the better heads for power?? Although i am just looking to get it running and as long as the heads work that will fit the bill. Yorkie
