I first heard this song a couple decades ago & I didn't appreciate just how good a song this was until now...
A young lad from Brighton who has suffered with his mental health for years has finally found his love of music has helped him pull through. Not everyones cup of tea, a very talented boy, a very moving story, started busking and now has a real future. Support him if you can.
so do I, I just like tracking down the originals sometimes, particularly when there sometimes seems to be an illusion that the better version was also written by that artist.
Tough call to cover a good song, plenty have tried and failed even some big names haven’t done so well at them. The Four Tops version though isn’t among them.
