Guys, are any UK dealers doing deals on the full Akrapovic system? I'd love one but can't justify the RRP with fitting as the Mrs needs a new car

Lot cheaper than buying an RS..

 

Can’t see the point as it means you can no longer carry anything on the tail.

I assume from that photo it’s quite a big job as it seems the whole tail unit is replaced.

 

It’s not much of a job. I dismantled mine a few months ago and from memory it’s about 4 bolts under the seat and a couple on the tail tidy. The most difficult part was lining the trims up on the pannier mounts.

Anyway, I’ll let you know when mine turns up!

 

And I’m looking forward to some proper pictures, not the shite on the link!

 

It says shipped in 3 days, but I’m sceptical.

Mine arrived last week. I’m going to get the dealer to fit them, as I don’t fancy chasing flying springs around my garage!

I like that, but not the price!

 

I bought a second hand PP. It was first registered in Aug 2022. The dealer is telling me it has a 4 year warranty and 4 years of breakdown cover from first registration. The manual that came with the bike says 2 years for both. Which is it? Is there anywhere I can check to get definitive confirmation? ATM its the breakdown cover I'm more concerned with as I'm renewing my insurance and need breakdown cover. I really don't want to find out I'm not covered in the middle of the Alps!
