Seen it once already just it’s so good to watch that I thought to go again.

Currently working in Bristol for a few days staying away, might try and go tonight

Just an observation but Clifton Village isn’t really a village.
All old houses and the parking is a nightmare.

 

If you want to park anywhere in/near Clifton village it's a 9am to 9pm zone! Some roads off Pembroke Rd (which is near enough) are up-to-5pm zones and are near enough if you want a 'Village' or Whitladies Rd evening...

 

Sounds almost like the former East Germany, Bulgaria or similar... Sad really.

 

Even the weather seems to have given up!

 

Amended the booking for our upcoming trip to France in the car, added another two nights. DFDS won't refund the difference, so we've got a cabin with window each way.

Yes seen that, that’s the latest I’ve ever seen for parking charges.Problem for me is my van is an extra long wheelbase…..

Staying in the hotel, they’re all Pirates round here, toothless tattooed and that’s just the women.

Hotel is not my usual fair, but company booked it, The Rodney Hotel

Yup, absolutely still, not a breath of wind. It absolutely lashed it down here yesterday evening so I was even more surprised by this.

It’ll probably be all gone later today.
We’re staying at the sister in laws, mid Devon. Drove down yesterday in the pissing rain to see my oldest school friend in hospital. Today could be the last time I see him but yesterday he was on good form despite the morphine confusing his mind. They’ve stopped giving him that so we’re hoping he’ll be more lucid today.

What a real shame as very useful looking at the photographs and other information, i guess perhaps the costs have gone sky high theses days or other.

He did offer it up for someone to take it on via his Superlight FB group but there were no takers. I think the list may have been saved as a file in that same FB group though I’ve not looked to see if it has.

 

Just had 2 phials of blood taken for a medication review and now sat in PizzaExpress rewarding myself for being brave Expecting to be read the riot act by the doctor next week but I'm 70 ffs BP is a little more concerning but I have an angel at the surgery working hard on my behalf, medication needs a small tweak. Andy

 

I don't do FB, another nail in the coffin 4 me.
