Hi, Anyone fitted Evotech tail tidy on their 1199 Superleggera? I have some issues with the license plate light touching the carbon cover on the tail unit. Have sent Evotech a message but thought I could check with the expertise here as well.
That does not look like the light fitted to mine... it looks a bit gash to be honest. Perhaps the tail tidy was changed for the Pani / SF ? Tthis is what mine looks like on a SF There looks to be another hole further back on the bracket. Are you able to move the light bracket back ? that will probably give you enough clearance
Could you not bend the NPL bracket down slightly or better still remove it and mill or file a slot in the bolt hole, so you could slide it forwards to clear the carbon panel above?
The second hole is just a small pin to keep the light straight. Will try to mill og file to maybe slide the bracket a bit.
Failing that, I am sure a local fabricator could make you another bracket with a slightly longer base and spigot hole to keep it straight.
