Hi all, I just took delivery of my V4 Streetfighter and boy i'm excited - obviously it instantly started raining in the South East! Anyway, when I was buying the bike I was told it had heated grips but it doesn't. Has anyone had this retro fitted and what was the cost? Are they worth it? Thanks in advance Ed.
I had mine fitted when I bought it. Aylesbury charged the cost of the grips £280? With no labour charge as they were servicing it anyway. Yes, they warm my hands nicely on low setting. Haven’t tried them when cold enough for high.
If the dealer said it came with heated grips, then they need to supply them. You bought the bike based on that representation. It may seem insignificant, but thongs like heated grips all add towards your buying decisions. If they said it came with an Ackra slip-on and it wasnt there when you picked up the bike you'd be demanding it. Same same
Yup, mine came with the button but no grips It's in today for its first service and I'm having them fitted. After years of working in heavy industry I can get severe white finger when it's cool so hoping this will alleviate the problem. Guess it was my fault as I never asked anything when I bought the bike, just said I will have that one and fit some noisier cans
