Hi, I'm having an odd issue with my 2019 Hypermotard. When I turn the bike on the rear light doesn't work but the front does. The brake light works and when switched to parking both lights work. I have searched the forums but nothing like this appears. I have A T800+ Upmap but nothing in the app allows the lights to be disabled. All the fuses are okay. Any ideas?
I had this issue once with a MTS950 of similar year. Have you checked all the fuses? I've a feeling the parking lights circuit is distinct from the circuit that supplies the rear light when the bike is running.
Sorry for the late reply, I had to head off to Spain on the bike before I saw your replay. I managed to bodge a temporary circuit from the battery to get it working. I thought I had checked all the fuses but I may have just checked the fuses I thought related to the lights. It was all a bit a panic to get the bike through the MOT before I headed off. I'll have a look again but I keep the bike in France so it will be a few weeks before I head over again. Was it just a fuse on yours? If it is, I will be very disappointed with Ducati who couldn't diagnose the problem while doing a service and said it would have to be brought back for investigation.
It was just a fuse that had blown, can’t recall which one but they’ll be in a different location on the Hyper compared to the Multi950 anyway. Pull each and every fuse and check it.
