In a previous life I worked at a haulage company with many fingers in pie(s) one of which was a HGV training school. Oh the joy of seeing the frustration of the instructors trying to have the pupils reverse into the allotted bay.
No driving involved in the DCPC courses, unfortunately, it is classroom (zoom call) based, need to do 35 hours every 5 years
Yes I’m still in and out of transport yards but they’re not anything like they used to be IMHO they’re either CDC, RDC and whatever other letters you can make up. CPC is just a scam IMO to lever money for no real benefit.

Was going to go out on the bike today, but with a high chance of rain and thick black clouds decided not to bother. In typical fashion, it’s been dry here all day. I have, however, been watching the FOS live stream on YouTube, and enjoyed watching everyone else getting soaked. Indian takeaway for dinner, washed down with a bottle or two of red.
Been tazzing round the warm, dry, perfectly surfaced, traffic free roads near our French house on my Triumph Scrambler 400 again. I really don’t want to come back to shite British weather and traffic infested roads.
Needs must unfortunately. Not quite yet in a position where I can take three months off work. But three weeks out here confirms to me where I would rather be.
