1200 DVT Majority Of Silver Bits Gone!

Discussion in 'Multistrada' started by glenandem, Jul 20, 2024.

  1. Owned the bike a few weeks now and swapped out quite a few bits minting it, this last week I decided to rip half of the silver coloured bits off and had them powder coated from a local firm who’s done good work for me before and I know it won’t be to everyone’s taste but I like most of the bits done in black!
    Here’s a before and after.

  2. I agree, particularly the belly pan and the radiator guard.

  6. Snap, I'm trying to get rid of any sore thumbs, the last part for the bottom end is black AELLA rearsets which will be on order this week. My belly pan is a Fullsix carbon fibre belly, it's very good quality if a little tricky to fit (I had to cut a part out to fit the front header pipe) but it looks very nice.
(ignore the tape, I was taking suspension measurements)

  8. Thanks for the replies, I’m pretty happy with it, not much else I want to do really on the aesthetic side of things other than maybe a set of rim decals but very mixed on that and may even take the red stripes off that are already fitted!
Was a shame I couldn’t get the bar risers coated too as they had a rubber mounting bush inside that I couldn’t knock out so just left them and had the bars coated.
Loving the bike in the month I’ve owned it though, fitted puig screen, new chain and sprockets with the 42 rear for improved around town riding, not massive but definitely helped in slow stuff, evotech mount and some short levers.
Want to fit an Oberon cylinder soon too for good measure and a set of sintered rear pads.
Has anyone fitted the anodised rear wheel nuts, I’m tempted to fit a couple of them as mine are starting to look tatty!
