  11. Good evening, welcome to the forum

  12. Welcome. The 600ss is a nice bike to start your Ducati story, and pretty dependable. They are still raced hard in the desmodue championship and usually last well. Main “guidance” from me for starters is - Make sure the belts have been done correctly within the last few years, keep the right amount of a good quality oil in it, use premium fuel and if you leave it long periods without riding it, run it dry or stabilise the fuel (reduces chance of tank rust, blocked fuel pump/ gummed pilot jets etc.)
It might be the camera angle but your rear tyre looks wide for a 600. What size is fitted?

  13. Hi Jon thank you for the advice , the tyre size on the back is 160 x 60 x 17 and am glad a checked just noticed they are well out of date need changed as soon as possible.
Just wondering what everyone tyre choice's are for their bike's ?

  14. Pirelli Diablo Rossi II for me bud.

  15. Good. 160 is right. It just looked wider, and I wondered if the PO had squeezed a 180 on (ok on a 900 but too wide for the 600’s narrower wheel).
