So my Multistrada 1200s has a sh*t rear brake and spungy clutch operation and I'm not convinced that the front brake lever has the feedback my 853 race set up had. So has anyone considered fitting steel braided hoses instead of the original plastic coated ones ? Would the ABS work if I fitted seperate front brake hoses from the ABS manifold to the calipers ? Just thoughts at the moment but I'd be interested in other's opinions. Andy
I did the HEL kit on my old GSXR1000 because the brakes were shite! To be honest, even doing that did not make them stunning. I also have the 1200 Multi and even standard I think the front Brembo is stunning. Everyone I have spoken to says the back brake is crap which includes mine. I am sure someone will be along with a reason and a fix but to be honest I don't use that rear except in those 'oh shit' moments where is reality you know it won't help applying it but makes you feel better anyway.
