Did George Galloway lie to Parliament ?

  1. theyre all scum..

my all time favourite intellectual super hero of all time is the much missed Christopher Hitchens..if youve got time, this is a very lively debate...Hitchens' stance on Iraq is perhaps the only topic where im at issue with him, although many of the points he raises i struggle to argue against..his stance as an anti-theist is one i whole heartedly embrace.

  2. They all lie.

  3. mate..i love the guy..and the intelligence squared debate youve linked to i practically know by heart...one of my fave bits (apart from ann twattacombe, eyelids flapping trying to justify the unjust, trying to defend the indefensible), is when Fry yells in her face, "Well, what are you there for??!??"...and when twattacombe starts moaning "oh, i knew youd have to bring that up"...because Hitch n' Fry brought up the paedophile church!!!

  4. George Galloway is just a raving fascist nutcase in a very small minority. If he was a minister, lying to Parliament might be a resignation matter - but since he is a backbench nonentity, who cares what he says?

  5. he is a fine uncorrupted politician of the highest integrity

  6. He really is a douche... Who ever votes for him anyway?

  7. He took the Muslim vote in Bradford

  8. An MP is representing his constituents in Parliament? Heresy!

  9. Is there any other kind of vote in Bradford ?

He is also married to a Palestinian, not that that in itself is a problem but it adds a bit of background.

  10. Q. How can you tell when a politician is lying ?
    A. His mouth is moving !

  11. Just watched all this. - Excellent debate. Love the outcome, from 678 believers before down to 268 (of the most stubborn idiots) after.

They should make this compulsory viewing for everyone.

  12. 2/10
Not original, or funny, or interesting; just feeble. Must try harder.

  13. Is the right answer

  14. Hitchins changed his mind on Iraq. Call me a sceptic but I think he did it so he and Galloway could make money on the debating circuit.Gorgeous George has a habit of letting his mouth getting him into trouble, but he is right about a lot of things. Not least the Gulf War and the Lockerbie bombing. Everything he warned about turned out to be true. He may well have lied here, but he may also be correct. Reading Robert Fisk of The Independent today, his view is that the chemical weapons were fired by the "freedom fighters" some of whom he claims are Al Queda. He cites Hezbollah that have been fighting alongside Syrian forces turning up in a Beirut hospital as evidence. It's a bloody mess. No one knows, what is actually happening. Best stay out of it. This is entertaining thoughhttp://m.youtube.com/watch?v=UuzlwFXeW3A&desktop_uri=%2Fwatch%3Fv%3DUuzlwFXeW3A

  15. wasnt he the idiot that acted like a cat on Big Brother? The man is a twat. He's only antagonistic just purely to make headlines. Don't like him as he is a 'scratchy' (irritating c##t)

  16. I find it very hard to take George Galloway seriously. Brother.

Maybe I should, but I don't. He is a demagogue.

  17. I struggle with Galloway because I think much of what he does is for personal gain rather than for ideological reasons yet he pretends it's the other way round. I know that the majority of MPs are just lying bastards but I used to like hearing Dennis Skinner and Tony Benn lay into the Tories because whether or not you agreed with them you knew that they meant what they were saying.
