  6. £4.50

  7. Same as Hypermotard as well.

  8. Possibly stupid question but, inside the original cover on the D16 is what I assume is the aerial/sender for the immobiliser attached to a ring which clips into place on the inside. Do the CF versions have these clips or is it a glue job ?

  9. The ones I've seen don't have them.

  10. I used a hot-glue gun to hold mine in place. Easy!

  11. Be careful when you glue it Steve, I've got 1 of these, £45 ebay, & had horrendous problems with it deciding when it wants cut the immobiliser!
    ps look great though.

  12. Yes, the tolerance between reading the key and not reading the key is very tight!
If you have problems, whip it off and fit a washer under the cover as it goes on to shim it a bit.
    HTH.

  13. Okay. Does it cut out whilst riding then ? Was contemplating using double sided tape rather than glue.

  14. The circumference of the carbon ones is smaller than the OE so the plastic ring doesn't fit snugly, it's constantly trying to straighten so moves the transponder...I thought I had mine spot on until I was miles from home, turned off then when I came to start it the immobiliser wouldn't turn off! It won't cut off whilst riding, just once turned off mate! Try it with tape but don't fasten the 2 nuts too tight to begin with, that way you can unscrew them & adjust the ring if there's problems!

  15. Ps I didn't glue mine to begin with but recently have done!

  16. Cheers for the info. Real pain that its that sensitive. Will take your advice and leave the nuts loose or make sure I carry a 10 mm socket.

  17. Ive cheated. The one I've just bought off eBay is actually slightly larger than the original plastic one and actually acts as a cover, so no need to muck around with the aerial thingy. Realise it negates the purist ideal of replacing bits with CF, but it matches the Ducati weave and looks, imo, the same as it would if it were a replacement but without any hassle.
