Hi. Long time member and lurker here. Haven't posted in a while but I have a question and the answer might help someone else... Is it OK to connect an Optimate or Oxford Oximiser battery tender to the SAE port under the seat of my Xdiavel for battery maintenance? I think it is even though its recommended to use the Ducati branded tender, but I'm a little anxious! I've always had a tender cable connected directly to the battery and thats worked fine on my previous Ducati's but for some reason the cables on my Xdiavel keep failing on me. I think water gets in due to poor cable cover/seal, so I figured I'd forget that and start using the under seat connector instead. Will this be OK to do?
