Moisture Inside Of Clutch Cover / Oil

  1. I have found a gathering of water/moisture in the clutch case. It is near where the hydraulic clutch comes into the case.

What could be causing this? I'll clean it up it might become obvious.

    750 Supersport 1995.

  2. It has to be that seal in the centre.

  3. That’s the clutch slave on these.

OP- have you seen a drop in the clutch fluid level? It looks like ‘mayonnaise’ that’s associated with short runs where the engine doesn’t get hot enough to drive off moisture.

  4. If you aren't losing any coolant, then probably too many short journeys.

  5. No coolant on these - air cooled, so that makes life a little simpler.

  6. Didn't check the model close enough :joy:
    Short journeys then.

  7. I'll clean it out and check the clutch fluid.
