I've gone a little OTT to solve a problem I created for my Multi 1260 - I need to design and print a bridge from the mirror clamp to the lower handguard as I need to remove a chunk to fit the RCS MC's I've got for both brake and clutch. It's a pretty exciting task ahead, I'm just curious, does anyone else design and print parts for their motorcycles or similar? I'm going to provision the part in PLA to get to a good place in design then I'll finish the part by printing it in ASA material which should be good enough for a external facing part. Anyway, I received the kit for the Prusa MK4S model this morning and have begun building said kit (again, a lot of fun!) and mostly just looking for fellow printer nerds on here. My experience thus far has only been with resin printers to print board game parts and figures.
I've had camera parts printed by Xometry. These were just spare battery covers for a Canon Cinema Line camera, nothing structural, they just clip onto the mating face of the battery to cover the contacts when in the gadget bag. I was pleased with the result. They do a variety of materials and finishes to suit your purpose. I found the files for these online, so no idea about doing the design side of that.
