Jt Adaptor & Sprockets

  1. It's getting time for me to replace the chain & sprockets on my 950 SP. Although I love the look of the AEM Factory Ducati Sprocket Flange Hub Kit from conquest racing, the price is a little offputting! I figure a budget alternative would be the JTA750B sprocket adaptor, with the JTF742.15 front sprocket and the JTR751.43 rear. This would allow easy rear sprocket changes, and I guess I could replace the standard Ducati flange with a more aesthetic CNC alloy one at a later date....

Has anyone on here used the JT sprocket carrier and sprockets (steel)? Any recommended alternatives?

For the chain, I'm thinking of the

  2. Had this setup on my last Multi 1260, was pleased with the result. Didn't get to exploit the cheaper rear sprocket 2nd time around, or the ease of change, as I wrote it off in France last year

My 1260 Pikes Peak that replaced the old Multi came with new OEM chain and sprockets from the dealer. Just swapped the chain for a DID ZVMX GOLD as the OEM chain was already looking manky. When the time comes for the next change I'll probably be buying a JT carrier and sprockets again.

  3. Thanks for the info :)

  4. Apparently quite a few other sprockets of the same design from other manufacturers will fit the JT carrier. So, STC from chosen brand, you're not limited to using JT sprockets.

  5. @iratnl I may have one that I haven’t used for my (now sold) Hypermotard. Will look it out tomorrow and let you know.

  6. Yup. Found it. Unused. PM sent
