I've just added a double usb charger socket to my 1200s on the l/h inner fairing and was a bout to drill a hole on the r/h side to fit a latching switch to power some auxiliary lights when I thought what if the unused DIN plug would be a suitable fitting location. So removed the socket and hey presto the hole was a perfect size to accommodate my switch. I have also used the DIN plug wiring to feed my usb charger without any botchery - Result Pics of switch and pre wired plug here
