We watched The Accountant, not what I expected but the eldest daughter and BF are home and film buffs. Apparently there is a sequel on its way. I was half asleep before the film and it kept me awake so must have been reasonable.
Double header today. First up, The Amateur; Rami Malek as an American Intelligence analyst, singularly unsuited as a field agent, who decides to take out the four terrorists who killed his wife. Despite a few plot holes, we both quite enjoyed it. Second was Warfare; a US Navy Seal unit supporting a US Marines operation in Afghanistan are ambushed. Based on the accounts of those involved, it is extremely graphic and not for those of a nervous disposition. We thought it was very good but walked back to the car shaking our heads at the futility of a war that appears to have achieved very little.
it may of been said already. Resident Alien. v,funny. American Primeval. brutal. Cowboy BeeBop. bonkers mad. i'm not much of a fan of sitting down and watching a series but these were excellent.
wish they could have kept it "buzzing" but ran out of steam at S3 i think? Certainly enjoyed early progs though, nice and different.
Watching Liverpool try to become Premier League champions today, going 1-nil down really was not in the script Currently 2-1 up
Tracker The son of a survivalist family, Colter Shaw is an expert tracker. Now he makes a living as a “reward seeker,” traveling the country to help police solve crimes and locate missing persons for private citizens. Absolute utter nonsense at its best.
Havoc on Netflix with Tom Hardy. If CGI is the future of film making then I’ll keep watching the classics over and over again.
