  1. A sellout crowd DEFINITELY made it a great race.
Straight out the suzi perry handbook that one Dave.

  3. Does MM share his win bonus with AM? Great to see Fabio on the podium.. Another fast forward motogp. Dorna needs to do something before motogp returns to the Doohan-esq procession of old! The sprint format has failed to provide close racing in this class.

  4. I'm not old!

  5. And now you’re moaning. About moaning. :D

  6. Not moaning, just making an observation.

  7. Quite eventful .....

Alex lucky to walk away from the last crash without injury. I thought he had broken his wrist - but he went on to beat the lap record. A lucky escape - he could be joining Jorge Martin, watching the racing from the sofa.

Top performance by Fabio on a Yamaha. I thought Pecco was very gracious when he praised Fabio for his result.

Marc Marquez, argy-bargy with Pecco. Who knows how that will affect the atmosphere in the Ducati garage. Maybe then can brush it aside, just business, nothing personal. Still, good for Pecco as he finished with a trophy and Marc didn't.

I hope to see Pecco carry on wining points and trophies - keep it out of the gravel. See how the racing between Alex and Marc develops - Alex might fancy his chances at the title - see if he is prepared to fall out with his brother Marc over it.

  8. 2027.
New bikes less aero less fuel no ride height and launch devices etc…
I’d prefer no aero at all but zero chance of that happening.

  9. Apart from some excitement early on, yes. If it carries on like this I might not renew my motogp.com. Probably been subscribing for ten years..
Why is it like this though? There are six Ducati on the grid. And, as seen this weekend, Yamaha and KTM are getting closer.
Honestly, I can only think excess tech (electrickery) and worse still, the bloody tyre pressure rule. IMO, why not just have a minimum starting tyre pressure, confirmed at start of race? Problem solved for ‘how’ from the point of view that riders then just have to think about retaining heat in tyres?

  10. Btw, well done Fabio. Taking the fight to the best riders and the ‘best bikes’ on the grid.

  11. Yamaha’s made for Jerez. Sweet cornering bike but a bit short of puff.

  12. Who needs aero with the state of MM's bike and he still passed folk :joy:

  13. Lots of talk today about why Marc crashes when he doesn’t need to all the time, ranging from poor feel from a full fuel tank to the suspension bottoming out.
No mention of perpetual brain farts yet though.

  14. Some were saying he should have been black flagged lol. Would t want to be the person who did that at his home round!!

  16. No-one has the balls to penalise golden bollocks, MM. No further mention of leaving the pit lane before the green light was displayed after the red flag stoppage  In BSB, if you fall off during the race, that’s it, no remounting. Fall off during practice, the rider must return to the pit to be checked over. Andy

  17. Safety seems to be becoming a bit of an after thought in moto gp these days. From riders (plural) crashing into air fences at silly speeds to the horrors of dawdling and lately concussion regs.

And yes 93 has a different rule book to most other riders on the grid. Time after time this has been proven.

And on the subject of 93 how many times have you heard Neil Hodgson on comms say “heee didn’t neeed to dooowitt!!!”

It feels like he could have passed vr46 years ago if he could control his emotions a bit better (couldn’t we all etc). Pecco dusted him up a bit and the red mist came down and he pushed beyond the limit. It’s really that simple from what I saw.
He will no doubt win this year on the best bike but it’s why he will never be goat material in my eyes (and neither is vr46 before all that bollocks starts)

  18. Quite an interesting conversation if you have a few minutes

  19. Let em get on with it.
