It’s a lovely spring morning out there and I’m sat in, waiting on DHL to deliver a parcel. It is a parcel from Evotech so not all bad and I need time to gather up all our Marshal’s kit that was put away in October last year and not seen since Oulton Park this weekend, hoorah, it’s been a long off season. Cathay Pacific, Tokyo to Hong Kong then LHR. They were the cheapest at short notice unless I took a Chinese airline which are half the price but take longer with stop overs than the others. If I came out this way again I would use a Chinese airline, the extra cost is not worth it unless you have a direct flight.
Yesterday the builders finally (retro) fitted an outside security light that should have been fitted before I moved in so there's been a few holes put on the wall. So this morning the plasterer is here patching it all up. Hopefully it'll all be painted later or un the morning. Either way I'm off out on the bike this afternoon
I would not be happy with that on a brand new build. I'm currently tiling a splashback in the kitchen on a brand new build and the level of finish is shocking.
Cathay missed the takeoff slot, knock on effect is I’ve missed my connection to Heathrow. They’ve elected to fly me to Frankfurt Germany and then onto Heathrow. 4 hours late once I land. I’d forgotten why I dislike traveling not having flown for over 20 years.
