The Difference Between The 1100s And 1100evo Engine

  1. well you're a crap salesman, given that id've bought it.

anyway. just bought a hypermotard evo sp engine instead. this will be going into an 848 frame and built as a track bike. hence looking for ideas / recipes to tune it.

thoughts? ideally looking for 110-115bhp but that's $$$ dependent. will be stripping and building myself but sending out for balancing, porting etc.

  2. Meaning I can install this MWR Air filter kit without making any changes on my ecu and the bike will still run fine? But what advantage will I have with it only without remapping

  3. Hi, I will like to know if I can install this air filter kit without doing an ecu reflash.. and what will be my advantage.

  4. There MUST be a balance between the amount of fuel and air. It won't happen if you only install an MWR filter, for example, which will be an extreme variant for maximum oxygen. This must be compensated with the right amount of fuel, i.e. a remap. If you choose NOT to do this, you will end up with a mixture that is too lean and will probably burn your valves. Another thing is that to get more power, more fuel must be added. But with the MWR filter, you then have the opportunity to compensate with fuel, to the ideal mixture level of air and fuel, and in that way get more power.

  5. Thanks so much for your response.. much appreciated .. I guess I will have to use it just the way it is for now, anyways is it possible to post just my ecu to get the MWR filter remap it needs then sent back to me?
