1200 Regulator Help

  1. I've bought an aftermarket regulator for a 2013 Multistrada 1200. The black plug on the new one has three pins where as mine has two pins. Any ideas whether it will be OK?

  2. I'm not sure why it was 3 terminals in the output connectors. I'd think the centre one is redundant. This shows the normal connections.

  3. I'm thinking it should be OK as there are only two connectors in the plug?

  4. just to confirm - so the aftermarket is not Shindengen? - if it was a quarter of the price of the Shindengen then beware is all i can say, as past testimonies have proven to be a false economy, i hope this isn't the case for you here.

  5. It's an MTX from Mand P

  6. New battery and new reg. However flashing green neutral light and flashing C where the gear number should be?

  7. Have you tried a calibration of the gears?

  8. Yeah. A few times. Also got no odometer reading.

  9. It's calling you a flashing C. But don't take it personally.

  10. I feel like a flashing C the amount of grief it's given me the last few months lol.
Now I've done the gear programming sequence properly, ie twice through all gears, that's sorted. Just got nothing on the odo now.
