Think I would struggle on a long ride with that crotch rocket lol too small for me , great to ride but for me not that long
I mounted a set of forged as well. Here is my initial reactions from last week: I finally got released by the Dr to ride after 3 months recuperating from a spinal fusion. Friday a buddy and I swapped our cast wheels for Ducati's Accessory Forged wheels on my Rally and his '21 V4S which has 90K miles on it. I weighed them out of curiosity: Front Cast 9 lbs 12 oz, Front Forged 8 lbs 10 oz Rear Cast 13 lbs 2 oz, Rear Forged 10 lbs 7 oz We did our usual balls-out 450 mile saturday ride and holy shit! I didn't expect it to make that much of a difference. Turn in is much easier Suspension feels more compliant particularly on sharp hits (fast bumps) Transition from side to side feels more like a Pikes Peak My buddy thought it accelerated a bit quicker but it seemed the same to me Bike just feels lighter overall, like it went on a diet They come colored in a black semi gloss which matches much better with the other black parts as compared to the gloss black of the stock wheels. Besides, they just look good with their swoopy design I'm happy! Marc
I will try today but Marc beat me to it DOH ..... Its on the bike stand at the moment as changing tyres , once off I will get some better shots.
Chris , straight swap , the kit came with all the disc bolts and external spacers as the hubs are complete with bearings and seals. Only thing was the cush drive bushes which came separate , not hard to fit using the usual freezer and heat trick . Could have used the press but decided old school way . Tap tap thunk if you see what i mean.
Looks great , seems we are running the same Discs as well . Nice Have noticed you have a lot of balance weights on , I have 20g front and 15 g rear , may be worth rotating the tyres and re balance .
