Localish bike meet this evening turn out not great, 2 Cagiva Raptors attended. Bit of a moment on the ride home deer ran out in front of me, no time to photograph it though.
Been for an eye test at Boots Opticians..........everything fine and my "reading prescription" hasn't changed now for 4 years.
A very strange one yesterday, in the Ex-apple, plum and pear orchard a bonfire went out two weeks ago but a very small puff of white smoke was seen. For those that haven't joined up the dots yet.....new Pope announcement. Weird and wonderful things happen every day in our lives.
Decided to check out the view from my east coast retirement office.... Looking towards whitby from Larpool Viaduct Robin Hoods Bay 199 steps A nice 13 mile walk
BBQ’d in the late afternoon sun and had a few beers. Almost time for bed now but maybe just one more beer before retiring for the night Andy
Odd jobs round the house repair a little rendering and repoint a little bit of brickwork on the front bay. Tatted about with my GasGas700, as I remembered my Scrambler was out of MOT and needed a bike to have a burger from my local Wimpy.
If you mean the white egg outside, consider using the boat polish and cutter by 3M. You can use a buffer without any worries -just use is on low speed. You will likely never need to do it again. https://www.zoro.co.uk/shop/abrasiv...OC3mW4zXOoHQb849bZ97-H1Z6pyxgtwRoCOeQQAvD_BwE
Thanks yeah, the white egg, I'm getting it ready for selling. Had it 10 years now, the last 5 since the summer of covid it was set up as a static. It was the cutest darned van on the site but just too small... Upgrade to a bigger wagon ongoing.
Another bike taxed and ready 4 action today but no train services for my return journey, so a little f~@ked scratching my head.
Liberation day (yesterday). Unusual sight. I think it is called a Kettenkrad It looks like it has 12 wheels plus the front motorcycle wheel. Not sure what to make of it really. I suppose better off having it than not having it - but whether a Jeep is a better idea.
Liberation day is a good show, especially in the sunshine. A lot of effort goes into it by ordinary people and families. Lots of people dressing in period dress. Were you driving a historic vehicle ? A few old vintage Rolls Royces this year.
Yes, i was a member of the Austin Ten Drivers Club, we were on holiday in Jersey with a number of 1930's cars (UK registered, not Jersey), we were invited to participate in the parade The car is was driving was identical to this one
