Motorcycles have come a long way

 

I’ve got an e-bike which looks like the bottom one. Full circle, eh?

What make/model is the “eek” bike?

 

Wasn't there a ducati single that did the ton back in the day?

 

Yep... design driven by function.

The eek bike is a Krauser 4 cylinder 500 cc (I'm assuming) two stroke that was mainly used in sidecars. Not sure of the frame mind.

 

Possibly.... just seconds before the crank blew...

He-he-he... but we all know what they're like. From heart wrenching exhilaration to heart wrenching despair. Sometimes in the blink of an eye.

And that's why we love 'em.

 

I had one and on the speedo it did 106, so perhaps. It was quicker than anything else of its ilk, except perhaps the legendary Suzuki "Hustler Super Six" which was supposed to also do 100, but I've never ridden one. The pictured bike is a later edition with a revised seat, pipes and black headlamp that mine didn't have.
