2010 BMW R1200GS in Alpine White. I'm the 4th owner, having owned since 2022 and have done around 4000 miles on the bike. It's got some nice extras included; - Garmin Zumo 340 sat nav. - Spot lights. - Tall screen (standard also included in sale) - Givi Tekker Dolomiti hard panniers (36ltr each). - Givi tank bag. - Kappa top box. - Cylinder head protection. Great condition all round and a great bike for touring and commuting. As you'd expect it'll munch the miles all day long but you can fairly hustle it along a back road too! Just had a full service by myself at the tail end of last year and had a new rear Michelin Road 6 last year too so it's ready for the season. MOT to November 2025. Bad points; Front tyre will need changing in a few 100 miles and some engine paint flaking starting to show as is typical with these bikes. Don't be put off by the mileage, the bike is in great condition for age and has been well looked after. It has full BMW service history up to 47,158 miles (including one in Ohio!) and since then has been looked after by either independent garages or owner serviced. I'm based in Aberdeen but happy to deal over the phone and happy to deal with collection by courier. £4250 ono takes it.

Reduced to £4k. Any advice on price welcomed, I've had zero contact on this through all my ads and I really didn't think I was that far off! https://www.autotrader.co.uk/bike-d...ign=email&utm_medium=desktop&utm_source=share
Sadly mileage is probably the issue. Which is nuts but it’s the way of the world with bikes. My 13 plate GS at 63,000 with full BMWSH is worth; not much.
Yeah figures, one guy came to look, was blown away by the condition and the way it ran, then saw the mileage and walked. Said he’d misread the ad and thought it had 38k, not 58k. I’ve always bought on condition, not mileage for all my cars and bikes and it’s served me well, might have to change that approach in future.
Had that with a GSXR750K4. Full Suzuki service etc etc. 31000 miles. Ad in MCN and guy turned up moaning about mileage and ad being a miss print ffs
Feels like such a waste of time doesn't it! I've never had bikes hang around like this in the past, most gone within a couple of weeks and generally sight unseen.
It’s a tough market to sell most bikes in currently and I would guess that your GS is just a that mileage where buyers are concerned that the clutch will soon need replacement, and for most potential GS owners, who prefer riding to spannering, that is a very big bill to absorb during their ownership which makes the bike worth very little more when they sell it on.
