Some horrible accidents this morning. Remy could be in a bit of bother with race direction too.crashing under yellow flags and nearly taking Ianone out in the gravel who was reeling from another nasty high side.
You have to wonder what Toseland and Haines are watching sometimes. The Rea crash where his bike cart wheeled through the gravel about five times and bought out the red flags, they were both seemingly quite surprised that the next shot of him was in his “civvies” and his session was over with 30 minutes left on the clock. Love to know who they thought was going to fix that wreck in half an hour.
Ianone out for the rest of the weekend with two fractures in his foot Bulega to be “assessed” later today, seems like he has heavily bruised knee and ankle. Hopefully nothing broken though.
Bloody sterling effort that from the current championship leader.. https://www.worldsbk.com/en/news/20...st Bulega fourth despite massive FP1 highside
Bulega looked very ginger on his bike at the start of that last swoon and to get that high must have taken some effort. My guess will be he’ll be pushing for as many points as possible, with top 5 being a result Toprak braking into T1 was ridiculous. A foot off the ground for over 59 yards and had the front 3/4 max lean before the rear came back down. Will the fuel restrictions make any difference?
Not looking at the time sheets but it’s just another attempt to sell wsb imo. No one wants to see Rea or Bautista (or anyone else ahem) win stupid races and championships on the bounce as they have in the past but I can’t think of any other reason why they’d persist with it, makes it look a bit Mickey Mouse imo.
I thought TR was just trying to back Bulega up into the third place battle. He had so much in hand really. Bit dull again tbh.
Funny how Toseland is now understanding how hard it is for AB to wrestle the bike around due to his small frame & low weight! I'm sure that if NB wasn't such a talent, he'd be sayinghow unfair it is for the non-Ducati riders...
I wouldn’t call it dull but certainly predictable with TRs record round Most. At least there’s some kind of pendulum swinging back and forth. I would also add TR has as much to complain about when these rule changes are clearly targeting him alone and not the bike as a package. MVDM too.
The Beemer is a sack of shite without TR on it. The Ducati was still a great bike without the minimum weight changes and still is.
