So after lots of consideration I’ve taken the ultimate decision to move away from Ducati having owned x3 including a monster and two SF’s I feel it’s time for a change! Circumstances have changed and my riding aspersions have altered from a Sunday ride out guy to more adventure trips/weekends away on the bike! I hear you scream multistrader. But it’s not for me unfortunately and priced too high in my opinion.And to be honest looking forward to a 1 litre straight four again. So looking at a second hand BMW S1000 XR sports tourer.

I had bought a new xr in 2016 but sold it when covid was the rage, i put 25,000 miles on it brill bike I missed it so much three years ago i bought a 2019 triple black, thats now on 22,000 miles with 2 euro trips planned for this year .A few people moan about vibrations but I've not found it to be a problem and i have done some long days. I took out a 2022 gen 2 when having mine serviced but didn't like it as much as the gen1.i also have a monster 1200r
