Anyone recommend a little day pack that will fit on the rear rack. I only want something big enough to take some waterproofs and a few bits and pieces say 5Ltr max. The kind of thing that can be left on the bike. Thanks
I use the Kreiga rally pack on mine. You’ll need some straps off Amazon, but it’ll fit my sandwiches, a drink and something for pud, so is perfect for a day out.
I have something similar. It's slim yet expandable. It's also durable, cheap and does the job. https://www.amazon.ca/Motorcycle-Wa...sprefix=motorcycle+tail,automotive,180&sr=1-5 For a name brand and hopefully higher quality product, SW-Motech Pro Plus Tail bag is a nice alternative. https://fortnine.ca/en/sw-motech-pro-plus-tail-bag-bc-hta-00-308-30000
Hi Can you show a close up and how you mounted please... I was thinking of making an Aluminium plate - slightly smaller than the bag and bolting to the 4 holes the plate and bolting the rally bag to the plate BUT the 2 sets of holes are not the same level and effectively angled - so the front set sits around 20mm higher than the back - when you tighten the front down... would need to add some bends or spacers? So interested in how you strapped it. I have fitted a small bag behind the seat - under the rack frame - from ebay - but need something a bit bigger above for a disk lock and maybe some spare gloves (took the wrong gloves on this mornings ride and had cold back of hands) THANKS
Sw Motech Pro road Tail bag. Has long straps (with velcro keepers) and velcro strap options built in. Can fir it to loads of bikes on racks or rear seats. https://sw-motech.com/en/products/luggage/tail+bags/PRO+tail+bags/4052572197356.htm
Thanks But bigger than I was looking for I also have the US5 from Kreiga and thats also bigger than I wanted THANKS
Yes - Thanks - I already have one similar to that fitted under the rack - was looking for something size Rally Pack to fit above without the mounting plate. THANKS ALL
I use a kriega rollpack 20. It packs down and can fit under the seat (not sure if that's the case for the V4) and is perfectly waterproof in all conditions and takes a couple of seconds to tie down. Regarding the 5ltr size, it's not a lot imo. Enough to stash some plastic overalls in, and maybe a snickers. But with the 20ltr rollpack, I'm still running out of space quickly when I use it.
What if you remove the toolkit? I can just about fit a toolkit pouch, fuses and the rollpack, just. It's tight, but possible.
OK So here is the Kreiga Rally Pack - fitted to a 3mm Aluminium Plate (150 x 200mm) bolted to the Rack using M6 bolts and 2 25mm Spacers at the rear. Just for future posterity for others.
