    Does he have salvage rights though or will he get compensation for it mooring on his land?

  10. I remember reading at the time, I guess mid 90s, about James Parker from Radd developing the Ratz race bike (Radd front end with tz250 motor). The development made real sense, I could never understand why they brought the technology to market in the lardy GTS where the benefits wouldn't be apparent. :thinkingface:

  12. I think by the time just the front end design was finished it was so cumbersome & heavy that it could only be fitted to similarly lardy bike. I 'm not sure of the timelines but there were other cheaper less clumsy designs out there... the Hossak comes to mind but I'm not sure that BMW hadn't robbed that particular idea by then.

  17. Reply from me Dad "Multiple small wheels i.e. Low gear. Traction, slow speed, heavy long loads, vast distances. FYI - Russia uses 5ft gauge, everyone else uses 4ft 8.5 inches. WW2 Germans had to relay all track!"
