  3. Just had a sausage & mash dinner with all the trimmings, washed down with ONE glass of red. I’ve put the cork back in, and will have some more tomorrow. I’m trying to be an adult, after a disastrous mid week session.

  6. So far, so good. I wasn't fussed about having a bath back in but the domestic chief said it's a must .

  7. Note to self…. Don’t just quickly check all the Nav lights are working, it turns into 2 hrs of hell.

  8. Spent Friday morning with UK Biobank having volunteered to be one of the 100,000 people they want to scan to add to their database for research purposes. Full torso scan, bone density scan, brain scan, fluid samples, research questionnaire and cognitive tests over 4 hours.

Since the good old NHS has kept me the right side of the grass for longer than I should have been, it seems only reasonable to give something back.

  9. well done GG, have to say I would've done the same despite the four hours because invaluable information
obtained as a result. I had to have a full bone density scan in London over 30 years ago because I wasn't growing bone as was expected after a back operation.

  11. I get mine done once a month. It doesn’t cost anywhere near that, but he’s here for a good 3 hours, and does an amazing job.

  12. They’re absolute artists imo and worth every last penny.

My clubvan had three years of x3 dog hairs stuck to the insides and he told me he found a puddle under the floor in the rear. looks like it just came out the factory now.

He also kindly showed me my car/van has two extra doors I never even knew they were there/existed haha.

    God bless cars etc..

  13. It was stunning in the flesh, I like a Guzzi but this is the stand out one for me. My 19 year old Son loved all the little details on it.

  14. Agreed. I had the M5 ceramic coated when I bought it new in 2022, and it still looks brand new. Worth every penny, and definitely worth getting it properly detailed regularly.

  16. Started to retrofit a cruise control kit this afternoon to my van, van is wrecked, couldn't find the relay that is shown in the installation instructions, gave up, it's starting to get dark, and it's raining

    Will have another go tomorrow

  17. Made it down to just past Gloucester Docks today. I’ve already had an argument with some people in canoes that blocked the navigation arch to a bridge and just told me I was on the wrong side of the river seemingly oblivious to the fact that I needed to go through the bridge (the bridge is 12th century and you need to be on the wrong side of the river to line the boat up to get through it) they should have gave way to me as I was coming downstream but hey who reads the rules anymore. I said to my wife after that they are obviously the Jeremy Vine of the canoeing world. Drinking cider in the middle of nowhere now so all is well.

  19. I’ve literally spent the last hour and a quarter deleting over 150 bots. Seems we’ve been targeted by the Russians

They’re easy to spot with usernames like “Brittney Pig from Cockatoo” but fuck me they are tedious to deal with.

I don’t know what they think they’ll achieve with these false accounts on a bike forum.

    Cnuts!
