Donning Noise Levels.

  1. Hi All,

    I got a track day booked for the 9th at Donny, it says a quiet day 98db which i am told is measured on the main straight.
    My Aprilia RSV4 with Stock Akra blew 103.5db at Cadwells static test. would this be ok on a drive by. or do i just short shift up the straight.

  2. I believe the drive by only equates to about 101-102 but I'm not 100% sure. I think you get one chance to sort it

  3. Sounds like it’s moved to the same as Snetterton which is 98Db drive by 102Db static (from memory) that’s fairly hard to get through with silly exhausts on and impossible with most of the Ducati systems

  4. Crazy isn't it. My bike is completely stock as well. might have to just go easy up the straight

  5. Completely stock Ducati used to have a special get through regardless pass, not sure about Aprilia

  6. I always book ‘unsilenced’ for Donington. Always makes me smile the fact commercial aircraft are perpetually thundering overhead :confused: Rules eh?

  7. I have an RSV4 with an Akra, I always put the baffle in on 98db days... never had an issue..

  8. Can you get a baffle for the stock akra that comes on them
