I have a V4S incoming this week and would like to change some parts . Whats the best non standard riders seat , there seems to be more than one in Ducati store ? Also the bike does not have the side fairing 'Ducati Corse' decals which i would like to add. Can you purchase these from Ducati or is there a good quality aftermarket version. TIA
The seat will depend on how tall you are really, I'm about 5'11 and have the higher heated seat set in the lower position, gives more the same height as the standard seat in it's highest position. If you get a heated version, your dealer will have to activate it, if it's not already done on your bike, all the wiring and switch is already in place.
Hi Andrew Thanks for the reply . Im not fussed for a heated seat tbh . ive seen some with a different top material to the sides with red stitching ( im pretty sure they are genuine Ducati) which ive heard are better and a bit more comfortable . I know there are 'comfort' ones which are a bit thicker but im shorter than you so probably cant go the extra hieght.
Heated seat on a V4 ?? i thought one of the main complaints was heat from the engine cooking peoples inner thighs...?
My son had a new V4S on road test on Friday & I can assure you you'll not need a heated seat, you're pretty much sat on top of the two rear cylinder exhaust headers !!
