But perhaps Bajaj might not want to race but prefer to offer the team but supply the bikes in a partnership?
Well the ‘new’ local KTM dealer hasn’t lasted long. I’m sure it’s not much over a year since it opened.
^^ difficult times. Made more difficult by mis-management of KTM both past and present. Got a Superduke to offload at some point. Probably have to pay someone to take it Interesting that there are ‘certain’ normally well regarded journalists, who are currently still waxing lyrical about KTM. F***ng really? Be genuine guys. Not a chance if you were paying with your own money/or not on the receiving end of an exceptional sweetener deal..
I was in a month ago and they had £6k off a Superduke R and £3k+ off the 990 Duke. They would negotiate further if pushed. If they can knock £6k+ off how much is it worth once you get it !
only just learnt that almost a year ago they had more than 2 1/2 million bikes in stock unsold. I can't quite get my head around that.
tbf mate, I’ve just had to find £3500 to get rid of my Triumph Speed triple 1200RR, bought it two years ago for £14k new, sold it for £8k!!! (The figures don’t account for interest) so it’s been painful!!! Hence I’m going nowhere near a new KTM and similarly backed out of a deal on a new Aprilia RS660 even though I adored it because of the risks to tanking values
Just spoken to a pal of mine who lives in South Shields about it and he said he wasn't surprised in the slightest as "their customer service was terrible"
