The organisers re visit the groupings every day so you return to the admin upstairs to get another sticker.....I was up there and there was this English guy arguing with the Italian official, why had he been put down a group......the Italian in a shouty Italian accent replied, "you are not fast enough!"
F@$# Mary after years of reading your verbal sparring’s I’ll actually be able to put a face to them. I’ll be there on my V2 for my first trackday in about 8 yrs bar a couple of sessions at Cadwell the other day on my sons SV650.

August will be hot, 35 degrees plus in the afternoon. Make sure you stay in Hotel Dei Vicari Viale John Fitzgerald Kennedy 45, 50038 Scarperia, Scarperia e San Piero. Your TD operator will probably be Promo or DG. Both run live timing in the garage and very strict, daily group changes. Riding standards and bike quality usually very high. It’s Europe’s best track by far.
That hotel rings a bell. I think it’s the place we’re staying. Sounds great! Yeah, kinda guessed it might be ridiculously hot. Done Brno a couple of times so aware of soggy leathers in the morning…. Can’t wait
Well that was great! Fabulous track and Scarperia was magic too- lovely little town with great coffee shops, bars, restaurants, ice cream parlours etc… very friendly people. Anyone thinking of doing Mugello- do it! Aaand, I actually got pulled over for noise testing. And passed Now if my bike passed, anyone’s will… @Paul55 and I forgot me bleedin’ fan!! Doh!! And you were right, t’was indeed required at times. Very warm on the first day but heat not too savage on day two and three. Shout out to @Casp nice meeting you and Richie
