  2. price reduction on the front carbon mudguard if anyone is looking for one.

  3. Do you know if the 900ss carbs are the same as the 600/750ss?

  4. Hi really not sure on that, am sure someone on here will know that answer to that.

  5. they are the same bodies but jets are different and it doesn't take that long to swap everything. Main area to check is that the idle/primary circuits are clear and that the idle mixture screws (plus spring, washer and seal) are in good condition and free to turn.

  6. Just to clarify these carbs have not been used by me as my bike came fitted with the FCR's, they are the bikes original carbs though but they have sat in a box for the last 14 years so there's a good chance the seals will need replacing!! They do however look to be in very good condition, i did remove the float bowls just to check etc as shown in the pics.

  7. I totally understand what you're saying, it's impossible to know a secondhand item is 100% good, but certainly looks okay and I can see the two idle mixture screws are not "dog-eared" Which is a positive step. If you could carefully give each of those a 90° twiddle clockwise and then anticlockwise to confirm they are free, then would certainly help me if I were a buyer. :upyeah:
