The London Bike Show will be on at the Excel, Docklands 16 to 18 February. Who will be going? I definitely will.
I always ride there and park for free. I too was a tad underwhelmed this year. But I will go again in ‘24 as it’s a bit of a social.
I went today Friday.. Not worth the entrance fee No Ducati stand No Moto Guzzi no Aprilla Hardly any good kit stands. Sparse and underwhelming, got round it all in a hour, BMW had massive stand the Gs fan boys crowded around the new Gs... Ducati missed the goal here
I went to see the BSA and Triumph singles, the vast Motorcycle Museum display, the Norton V4s, the Royal Enfields, etc. Met some old friends. Saw Max Vanoni's handiwork, very impressive. Saw Allen Millyard's specials. Great pity there were no Guzzis, no Aprilias, and worst of all no Ducatis. May not bother next year.
Apparently there will be no London show at Excel in 2026. Not surprising really, it had got really poor in recent years. So it will be Birmingham NEC or nothing ...
