Does anyone know how to contact the DVLA regarding a spelling error on the V5C! It turns out that a "1" has been noted down as a "Y" in the chassis number on my 996...bollox. I can't see an easy way of contacting the right person on the DVLA website, does anyone know how?..or have a link?... or name and email?? Appreciate the help. Cheers Grant
Most UK government agencies (DVLA, local council, NHS, HMRC etc…) are still mired in the analogue, twentieth century. They just love paper and without them I am sure the Royal Mail would not exist.
I did this a while ago - "S" on the V5C Frame Number entered as an "5". All done in a couple of weeks, no questions or inspection. Simples.
I did similar a couple of years ago but needed to send photos of the actual VIN number marking on the bike.
Np. They got my name wrong on my first 999 log book. They've got the wrong postcode on my driving license. I suspect they use software by Fujitsu.
