1260 Adjustable Rizoma Foot Pegs For 1260s Multi

Discussion in 'Multistrada' started by firecat0_0, Jun 9, 2025.

  1. Hi,
I have not been on here in a long time following a lengthy illness. I am finally back on my feet, dusted off the multi languishing in my garage and been out for my first tentative rides. Oh boy how I have missed ridding! Much to my surprise I can manage pretty well but the foot pegs position is proving a bit challenging! I have the seat fitted in the low position and the distance to the peg is proving to be uncomfortable. I seem to recall Rizoma used to do some adjustable pegs but having had a Quick Look I am struggling to find them - not too surprising given my bike is 2019 but I am hoping someone on here can point me in the right direction as I will struggle to keep my multi with the standard pegs. Here is hoping!
    Cheers

  2. Gilles do a universal foot rest kit that you can add a 20mm extension. RGK-470-UF16-SET-B (black) or S (silver) and the extension is RGK-A-20.B (or S). They may still offer a 25mm extension. I have a set fitted to my girlfriend’s Monster 937, my Scrambler Icon and my Multistrada 1200 track bike. About £90. Andy

  3. Thanks Andy, much appreciated. I will investigate. Cheers

  4. @firecat0_0 I may well have the Gilles kit you need lurking somewhere in my garage, don't think I ever fitted them, I'll see if I can locate them.

  5. Tha would be very helpful, thank you.

  6. Does anyone know if the peg mounts on the 1260 are different to later multis?

  7. 1260 was the latest multi ;)

  8. Hi, these are the Gilles parts I have, think they are for pillion mounts though, although some parts may be the same for rider .

    • Thanks Thanks x 1
  9. SW Motech do these adjustable footrests. However, only 15mm lower at maximum adjustment. Though they do, IMHO, look better/more OEM than the Gilles ones, as well as offering a flatter surface that can also be adjusted for angle.

  10. hi, sorry been away and only just spotted your post! I can see you can adjust the angle and there are two holes to allow some front back movement.Do you know by any chance how much lower they are than standard? cheers

  11. Hi, thank you for the link, I will investigate further as I really need to get something sorted to be able to carry on riding. I have just test ridden the Diavel v4 and whilst impressed to is an expensive solution to solve foot rest geometry! Cheers

  12. Ive added a pair of these to my 1260, best addition i have made to the bike and greatly improved my riding experience. I found my feet slipping of the OEM pegs and they didnt give me the feel or confidence i was after. The SW motech do, the position is adjustble height wise by 15 to 20mm, forward and back by similar and the angle can be changed also. Very comfortable and lots of grip.

  13. Thank you for sharing your experience it’s very helpful. I don’t mind the original pegs but am looking to get some adjustment to try and get more comfortable.i will not know if they will work for me until i try them but they look to have an amount of adjustment that might just make the difference. Cheers

  14. Thank you, it's good to hear some genuine feedback. I was considering these a few years ago for the pillion as my GF of the time complained about lack of room with panniers fitted. She's now history and my new partner of 4 years hasn't complained yet.

  15. Order placed but three week wait for stock.

  16. Foot rests have arrived. Look very adjustable, they are heavy but if they help get a more comfortable they will be worth it. I will make some measurements when it fit them to compare with the standard set up.
