  1. Have you read his autobiography ?

  2. No... Is it good and something you'd recommend?

  3. I think so.

  4. Ah man that sucks.

Oddly I read an article about his lawyer earlier. One of the few who was ‘for the artist’ and fought a few battles with record companies and mangers.

RIP man and thanks for the music.

  5. What an amazing life he must have had. Invented his own sound/ genre and became one of the biggest music stars ever when apart from Elvis and Chuck Berry & Buddy Holly there really weren't many around.

And he wasn't even into surfing!

A good life, well lived. RIP Brian Wilson.

  6. I’m not sure it was that good. He was a recluse for a long time. Chronic stage fright and a BIG coke habit didn’t help.

  7. Psychedelics too. Possibly controversial but being lit on drugs 24/7 isn't a so much of a problem if you've plenty of money. Other people take care of all your needs. Plus you don't get stabbed by dealers, and there's no requirement to burgle, mug or sell yourself...

  8. Although, the physical and psychological effects are no less, no matter who you are.

  9. Absolutely true. The damage you may do to yourself won't be less because you're rich. That said the full on high for years and years are the reason they are doing it. And don't forget the poor folks are just as likely to be completely stuffed after years and years of the graveyard shift in the glue factory -with no highs whatsoever. Funny ol' world eh?

  10. RIP all those both on the Air India flight and at the crash site, and my best wishes to the one survivor on the plane; I sincerely hope that survivor guilt does not do for him, especially as it appears his brother has perished in the crash.
