  1. Im looking at a second hand item which was previously used for s v4 panigale can anyone confirm that it is suitable for a 1098.

    Thanks

  2. Assuming you are referring to a rear paddock stand, yes, it is. I’ve used the same big bore rear paddock stand across a number of models including a 1098R and a Panigale V4. Andy

  3. Depending on the year of the bike, it's worth checking first. Some of the early 1098's were on a 42mm pin. They then went to the 40mm and everything since has used that.

  4. I knew I had heard somewhere the earlier 1098 was different but all the Google search was a goer.

Thanks you've saved md fathers day disappointment ( more my daughters they were buying it)

On that note anyone selling for a 2007 1098s?

  5. Why don’t you measure your bike then you’ll know exactly what you need…

  7. The pin is 40.3mm

  8. Ok thanks I'll get my calipers back from my mate on the way home today and measure

  9. Would you like to borrow a tape measure…:bucktooth::upyeah:

  10. Sorry for the delay, I'm assuming these are a snug fit in which case I don't think yours is correct for my early 1098s as the hole is 45mm

  11. First single sided swingarm machine so I'm unsure how tight it is supposed to be. I have an abba stand with the correct kit but it's no where near as stable as every other bike I've used it on.

  12. you sure?

  13. Without my calipers I can't measure accurately but it's definitely not 40mm
