Yeah they just sent me that. No doubt they will sent you one too once you sign on. Perhaps today is a good day to refer you fam onto their own contracts? You could get a ref fee for each of them and pay half of the years costs, plus stop the £95 a month!
OK, that link doesn't send me to the MSE linked deal but still considerably cheaper than Vodafone who I believe own Leb. If I did that then you'd get £150 as it would be 2 kids plus me and my partners contract ? lol
Battled the traffic on the way to Gatwick, got the traditional body search at security, now about half way over the Atlantic, ready for a great holiday with my folks.
Fixed my partners Mini after it developed a problem whist the kids and her went on a Pigeon shooting spree in deepest Brecon. Car broke down in Ludlow, RAC called out but there is a problem with the OBD socket and his pad gizmo couldn’t diagnose the issue. 6 hours later having not worked on the car as it is apparently against their rules to work on a car that the gizmo hasn’t diagnosed it came back home. They even wanted 2 of the 3 to pay for a taxi home, I told the RAC to bring them home which is why I paid for relay ffs. It was a coil pack gone, easily spotted if you can be arsed to investigate. You know like get your tools out and just have a look, end of the coil stick was very darkened I guess by the current arcing across to the plug. But what do I know I’m not a breakdown mechanic but managed that in the pissing rain on my driveway. Teeney weeny rant over, thanks.
Absolutely no idea, but I do know i'll be cancelling my RAC cover and switching to AA. No way am I paying a higher price even if the service is the same.
Lady Nashers last Mini used to need a Coil every 6-8 months. I ended up leaving a spare in the boot so that I could go to wherever she was stuck, whip the plugs out until I found a wet one and replace that Coil. Her latest one has completely different coils and we've not had an issue. Touch wood.
Ours is the R56 at 80k on a 14 plate. Mrs Scud wants to keep this size as she feels the newer versions have gotten too LARGE and have lost their appeal to her and frankly ‘look goping’.
Lady Nasher has had 3 now, the latest one a 19 plate and all of them 3 door hatchbacks. They have all been the same size, and I'm sure newer ones are, but there are so many 5 door, countryman etc around that people think they are all bigger. Stick to a 3 door hatch and it will be basically the same size as the very first 'new' ones. Maybe very slightly wider.
I’m afraid we’ll be disagreeing on this, Mrs Scudds knows they got larger as the BMW designed 3rd generation does not fit between ‘the houses’ but both her first generation Mini’s did and do. We were invited to the launch of the 3rd generation obviously BMW not wanting to pass up the opportunity to sell a unit. We passed on it once we set eyes on the larger car, despite the salesman’s claim it was the same size. We eventually convinced him to come clean and his explanation was that this is what their market research conclude the customer wanted a larger car. They are noticeably larger no matter which of the versions they are they’re on a shared component build, the basic platform they sit on is the same if not in length but definitely width. Both width and length were increased after the R designated cars were phased out, R is for the Rover designs. There after they were completely a BMW ‘improvement.
Got my cardiac rehab discharge letter, with the results of my cholesterol test. If the nurse is correct that the exercise is the primary driver in the change I'm going to have to keep it up.

Just had the most amazing Thai meal at our local restaurant. When I say amazing, it was fantastic. Not sure if the chilled Singha helped but ....... Andy
Love Thai food, which reminds me I must book our local restaurant with my girls for a bit of a family get-together.
