  6. Have a wonderful trip! I don’t know if you’ll be anywhere near Gorge du Verdon but I can recommend it! Amazing scenery & great roads all around there!

  7. Just ridden down from Blighty to Pula, Croatia. It’s bloody hot(35C).
    France, Austria, Slovenia and Croatia.
Some of the roads are mint. But days too hot for the 899 so on the Panzer.

  10. If you are looking for a place near the eurotunnel, or ferry… I can recommend staying in Montreuil-sur-mer. On bike less than an hour from Calais… it’s a cool old fortified town, good selection of cafes, restaurants… and has a campsite at the base of the ramparts (easy to walk into town). Walking the ramparts is great, zero health & safety! Good luck.

  13. Sorry but that’s not a Panzer, that there is a T34 a Panzer stopper.

The monstrous thing in front looks like a late model Kettenkraftrad, some would say an improvement of the original design, but not me.:p

  14. Loaded my van up with all my tools and my Supermoto, off to Ireland tomorrow for an open ended finish time could be 3 weeks could be more.

As it’s outside work if it rains I am forced to stop working, thinking it’s going to be a tad longer than 3 weeks.

    Cheers Gaz

  17. Just using my bike insurance, I’m insured with Ducati, hopefully won’t need to use it

  18. I think he’s referring to the bike as ‘the panzer’.

  19. Thanks, I knew it was my attempt at humour.

Having been bought up on a diet of WWII films i'm trained in recognising tanks from that period and beyond. It's almost like we were being trained for war by osmosis.
