Couldn’t find anything definitive on the search function. Starting to get my 2022 V2 ready for the track. I’m sure it must of been asked but does the 899/959 tanks fit. Rather fit a tank than some sort of cover. Have read that the seat mounts can be different but don’t know if that the 1199/1299 models. Cheers, hopefully.
They (959 and probably 899) are a straight fit apart from the fact they have no side brackets for the (two iirc) fairing screws each side.
I’m sorry I don’t know how the CRC ones fix. It would be easy to weld a mount onto the tank though, especially as it’s for track.
Think the issue is the 899/959 don’t have the extra bracket where the fairing meets the tank. Had a look and don’t think it’ll be an issue as the side panels still bolt to the top cowl which should be enough support. Failing that good old zip ties or gaffa tape will come to the rescue.
