Cheapo Amazon Mirrors Didn’t Turn Out So Bad

  1. As the evotech mirrors I wanted were out of stock I thought I’d give some temp Amazon cheapos a go - but I’m really impressed.

I think they look reasonably good and feel pretty sturdy for £25!

BTW the bolts needed (one reverse) to hold the reservoirs on are m8, not m10 as I thought. So had to improvise with washers there for now.

  2. Lol there good, I bought some rizoma look aike ones for my triumph for £18 off ebay , other then the bolts being made of cheese they fit really well.

I lock tighted the bolts in just in case.

  3. They are exactly what I have and they are great. The only thing that I did was to use the original expanding brass parts from the Ducati bar ends as the alloy ones that came with the mirrors felt a bit crap.
I dont like them upside down though personally.

  4. I prefer the look of them facing up too, but commuting through London traffic in the morning, they make filtering between vans a bit more tricky!

  5. For fear of sounding patronising here... Why would they be any wider if they're on the top than the bottom?

  6. On the bottom, they are below car/van wing mirror height I’d guess. Andy

  7. I found that with under slung mirrors I was forced to move my arm out of the way.

After a few different pairs over the years I’ve settled on Rizoma Spyballs, very small but can see everything behind even the Blue flashing lights of a hot pursuit…….

  8. That's fair enough then. And some significantly tighter filtering than I'm used to! Hahaha.
